Governor’s Antiques & Architectural Materials was founded by the late Gary Thomas in 1970. Over the years, we’ve expanded into one of the most complete antiques & architectural salvage complexes in the United States, with 7 acres and 50,000 square feet under roof. We also offer a vast array of services onsite, with skilled craftsmen who can renew, transform, recreate, or build that unique treasure.
Take a few minutes to check out our website and get to know us. Whether you are looking for an antique light fixture dating back 200+ years, miles of wrought iron fencing and gates, 400+ claw foot bath tubs, hundreds of doors, windows, and mantels, antique lumber, or unique, custom furniture crafted from some of the most unique salvage you’ll find, you’ve come to the right place.
Antiques to Architectural Salvage
In 2019, we changed our name to reflect our greater focus on architectural salvage. We’ve moved away from much of the fine antiques that were once such a large part of our inventory (Yes, we still have lots of furniture – currently marked down to great prices!)
The services we offer are second to none in our area. Our master craftsmen refinish and rebuild furniture, build, polish and rewire light fixtures, cut antique glass, weld and fabricate iron and steel fencing and gates, build custom furniture…and much more.
