Rare WWII Kilgore Model 52 37MM Flare Signal Gun GS00092

This WWII flare signal gun was produced by the Kilgore MFG Company of Westerville, OH and within their International Flare-Signal Division.  Made from steel, iron and solid brass it is a large piece weighing 4 pounds.  There are a large number of number markings throughout the butt and handle area.  Above the trigger you can see from the left "P T   3 4 229  9 15  48".  Makers info can easily be seen on one side of the grip.  

Measurements: 11 1/2" long (left to right) and 8 1/2" tall (includes the 5 1/8" long x 1 1/2" diameter barrel).  

A great military historical collectible and conversational piece.
