Repurposed Antique Wooden Ceiling Medallion in Cambia Poplar Wood Frame #GA9315

This is just half of a round ceiling medallion that was split and repurposed to make two incredible crescent shaped hanging carved art work.   

The interior is made up of 6 star cut out panels which are secured to the frame. The frame is made from Cambria Poplar wood. It was also coated with Spar Urethane for protection which made the wood frame darker. 

 Cambia Poplar is a thermally-modified wood. The Cambia thermal modification process uses high heat in a controlled atmosphere to improve the durability (rot resistance) of the wood as well as to increase its dimensional stability. Cambia Poplar is another dark wood that can be used for furniture in side or outside.

One side has it's original white paint and the opposite side has it's natural wood color.  

Measurements: 59" wide (from bottom frame end to end) 31 3/4" tall and the frame is 1 3/4" thick.
