This mantel is designed in the Federal style.  The top shelf is tapered and grooved underneath and the very outer part of the mantel has angled accents.  There is a very pretty applied wreath with bow at the center.   Each side has full fluted columns.  It has the original makers mark tag at the back and is pictured.  Condition: overall, very good with the exception of some minor repairs needed as well as existing chipping paint.  

Measurements: 50 1/2" wide by 56" tall.  Firebox: 29" wide and 35" tall.  Top shelf is 11" deep.
