











1800's Historic Wells & Richardson Co. of Vermont Diamond Dyes Cabinet GS00703
Wells & Richardson Co. of Burlington, Vermont have been in business since the 1820's. They are historic makers of patent medicines and dyes. They are on the National Register of Historic Places (1970's).
This dye cabinet is made of wood and has a tin front door framed in wood. As you can see on the front, the painted graphic has worn over the years. It reads - "Diamond Dyes The Standard Packaged Dyes of the World".
The front door has an eyehook on the side for closing. The tin is embossed with these words and pictured. The opposite side has a printed graphic layout with pictures and dye descriptions. In very good condition with no rips or tears.
The interior has shelves and there is also additional dye info and verbiage.
Measurements are: 24 1/2" tall 14 1/2" wide 8" deep.
