Rare Set of Hand Carved Dog Shaped Furniture Legs with Casters 24" x 8" GS00164
This set of legs were hand carved and previously used for a bed and were attached to a footboard. One of the dog heads is missing its ear (which is pictured) and the overall condition is very good with no other issues. Existing nails remain in many areas of each leg. Each dog leg has a round button rosette on one side as well as 1" white porcelain casters at the bottom which work as they should and are intact. Every picture shows each chiseled indentation and carving made. We estimate this set to be from the early 1900's.
Measurements: 24" tall (counting attached caster) 3 1/4" wide and 8" deep.
