The face plates on both sides do show existing paint and made from brass. There is a patent stamp 1896 on the side of the lock boxes.
Measurements: Faceplates (both): 6 7/8" x 1". Lock A - 4 1/2" T x 3 1/2" Deep. Lock B - 4 1/2" T x 2 3/8" Deep.
