Antique Cast Iron & Brass Lion's Head Door Knocker GA9503
We just recently salvaged this door knocker from a home on the east coast. It had years of blue paint all throughout the piece so we wire wheeled all of that off and it now shows it's original cast iron with a great glossy sheen. The knocking ring at the bottom was also full of paint and once restored, the original brass came alive again.
It has three pre-set holes on the edges for securing along with a back support bracket.
Solid and heavy duty. Measurements: 4 1/4" wide by 4 5/8" tall and a 2 1/2" projection.
Excellent condition.
