Reclaimed Mirror Front Wood Door w/ Hardware & Architectural Salvage Accents #GA2011
This is a very unique creation starting with a solid wood exterior door. It has a full length mirror front along with tons of hardware and architectural salvaged accents.
At the top is a carved wooden leaf and scroll centerpiece with two turned wooden finials on each side all secured to a decorative tongue and groove 2x4. Then, two wooden Plinth blocks on each side each having an ornate round brass door knob backplate. Between the Plinth blocks is a decorative painted farmhouse painting on an oval piece of wood. In the center on each side of the mirror are half spindles and below those are halved newel posts/bed posts. Each bottom newel post half has a round ornate door knob back plate and an additional rectangular "egg & dart" design door knob back plate in chippy paint. Lastly, a working mortise lock at the side with a large brass pull plate and dead bolt. Key not included.
