This listing is for a set of 3 individual electrical blue and white porcelain signage pieces. Recently salvaged from a Chicago, IL business, they were installed atop of a building for advertising. Makers marks are imprinted on the back plates with "Federal Electric Company, Chicago IL with a Patten date of November 17th, 1903.

Made of porcelain, the colored paint graphics are still sharp and clear. As far as condition, there are no visible dents or cracks, however there are a number of areas that have surface scratches. Each square lettered sign has a recessed flat backplate with ornate Art Deco designs.

The reverse side shows rusts on each sign. The electrical wiring appears to have been updated one time before. Looking at the back, you can see that each bulb socket is connected to the next then corded for plug in with each sign having its own connection to a socket. The white bulb sockets are also made of porcelain and intact. The signs are shown using 15 watt bulbs. In considering displaying these signs, keep in mind that when all of them are on they do emit quite a bit of heat when on for a while.

Measurements: Each one - 29" wide by 30" tall and 6" deep.
