These fixtures are unique in their design and style.  Each one is affixed to a lower steel pole which is open at the bottom.  This is where the electrical wiring threads down and through  the opening. The steel poles have a brass plated cover that is hollow and easily slides off and on.  The top glass  has a 1" thick bevel on all sides and is in great condition. The very top of each one has a brass plated cover with finial.  This top comes off by unscrewing each set screw at each corner for ease of cleaning and bulb replacement. The outer part of the lantern has some ornate metal rim adornments in brown which also match the brown trim. This set can certainly be modified for other uses, i.e. lamp posts, etc.
