Civil War U.S. Naval Officer's Eagle Coat Button Recovered GS010928
Dug and recovered in Varina, which is in central Virginia in 2016.
Very good condition for age. It has the eagle facing to the left holding arrows on a lined surface with 13 stars and 3 canon balls.
Back side of button has some corrosion and part of the shank is still intact.
Measures 7/8" in diameter.
Comes with circular button display holder and cap
