Rare 1835-1840 Early Militia Eagle One Piece Belt Plate Recovered

This one piece belt plate was ground recovered somewhere in Virginia with the exact location unknown. Used very early before the Civil War and up until the tim the standard federal belt buckles and eagle plates could be manufactured and distributed. It does have a center crack and is uneven throughout.

It measures 2 3/4" wide and 2 1/4" tall with one existing hook on the back.
