Ornate Victorian Brass Filigree Hanging Oil Lamp & Shade Converted to Electric #GA1165

This former hanging oil lamp which is now electrified, is very unique and detailed.  The all of the designs (bottom oil glass holder - which is also filigree ) along with the frame, chain and ceiling cap is made of solid brass.  

There are three filigree designs on the frame with flowers, leaves and women holding a butterfly net trying to catch butterflies. On their backs is their net holder sack.  The butterflies are directly below them. This fixture measures 26" tall (not counting top chain) and 14 1/2" in diameter.  The halophane glass shade is an 11 1/2" fitter size.  

Note; The glass oil jar that sits inside the bottom filigree case is broken at the bottom.  This was done so the electric wires could be threaded through the top.  The glass oil jar can be replaced.
