Beautiful example of a white swan from R. Madison Mitchell circa 1962. This piece is one from a large collection recently acquired. The swan does have surface paint crackling throughout. At the bottom there is a surface crack at the center going across and shown - also one very light surface crack at the base of the neck. Artist signed and dated with additional verbiage at the bottom.
