1800's Large Ornate Primitive Cast Iron Rim Lock 10" x 5" GS00150
This large primitive rim lock has three ornate iron hinge tabs. Each has a hole for a nail to secure to a door or building. Note - one of the tabs is bent (shown in pictures). The key hole is very large with a unique pattern. Due to the depth of the lock, it was most likely used for a holding room of some kind and not an ordinary home or business.
Measurements: 10" wide x 5" tall x 1 5/8" thick and 4" deep (total depth - 5 5/8").
