1800's Ornate Cast Iron Mechanical Wind-up Fly Swatter "Shoofly" GS00361
Very ornate cast iron tiered unit used in general stores, saloons, etc. for fly control. It does not have it's original two netted framed swatters, which were tall and oval shaped. It is 8 sided and 3 tiered. The swatter is a wind-up with gear mechanisms at the bottom. There is a wing nut mid center that is gently wound to get it moving. Winds freely and easily needs very little for it to run a long time. Gears are quiet and are accessed through the bottom cover.
Note: Materials, handling, shipping, insurance and postage included with price.
