This 5 gallon hand blown aqua colored bottle held a root beer liquid which contained 15% alcohol and was used to store products in the 1800's from the Sharp & Dohme Chemist Company which was located in Baltimore, Maryland.

Sharp & Dohme Manufacturing Chemists were located in Baltimore, Maryland in the 1800's. Pharmaceuticals were produced by the company primarily. The bottle has the number 5 at the bottom as well as many bubbles throughout. No cracks or chips.

The wooden hinged box was used to store and ship the bottle and has the remains of the original label on the box with a picture of the company building. The box is in fair condition and shows sign of age.

Bottle measurements: 19" tall by 10" in diameter.

Hinged Crate: 21 3/4" tall x 13" x 13 1/2"
