







1872 Indian War U.S. Leather Artillery Fuse Box Pouch GS00708
This leather pouch is original to to 1872 and used during the Indian Wars. The leather on the pouch does have some crackling and scaling in some areas. A U.S. oval encircled stamp is shown at the front. The flap has an extended leather tongue with hole at the end to secure to bottom brass button. On the back are two straps of leather for attaching to a belt, etc. Stitching is intact.
The inside has a wood insert with 4 holes for artillery fuses.
Measures: 7 1/4" inches wide by 4 1/4" inches tall and 2 1/4" inches thick.
