Alfred S. Campbell (1840-1912) was a photographer, entrepreneur and business owner from England who came to the U.S. in 1866, with Napoleon Sarony, to run Sarony & Co. He then started Alfred S. Campbell Art Company in Elizabethtown, New Jersey. He produced a wide array of prints in the 1870 to 1910 era. In 1892 The Campbell Art Co. employed over 300 people as salesman, photographers, authors and poets to create their line of postcards, stereo views, calendars and fine art prints to be distributed all over the country including England.
The very bottom right corner has an embossed stamp that reads "The Alfred S. Campbell Art Co. Copyright 1904"
This framed print measures 15 1/4" inches tall by 13 1/8" inches wide. The picture view measures 8 3/4" by 6 3/4". Protective glass front.
