










1907 Vienna Art Plate in French Inspired Gold Giltwood Frame #vienna
One of a collection of art plates that were sold and distributed in 1907.
The back of the plate is stamped "Vienna Art Plates Pat. Feb.1905" - as it was patented then but not for sale until 1907. It was titled the "Beach" collection with many other designs were created along with this one.
The plate inside the frame is part of a collection from the Coca-Cola Bottling Company. The plate is 10" in diameter and the front view is of a woman titled "Gypsy Woman". It is framed in very ornate gold giltwood. The frame does have some issues. The top right corner has a crack with two chips of gold paint also noted in the same corner. At the back of the frame, you can see two levels framing the plate. All of the back is intact and solid.
The measurements are 16 1/2" wide by 16 1/2" tall and 2 1/2" deep.
