These cobblestones were originally used as ballast stones which weigh down the ship and keep it steady. When the ships arrived in Richmond, the stones were offloaded and local cities would use them to make streets and sidewalks, some still in use today. 

Each stone is a different shape and size ranging from 4-7 inches each.

These are sold in lots of 100 at $3.00 a piece.
