This is a great piece of history right here. These cobblestones were initially carried at the bottom of ships coming from England using them as ballast stones meaning to weigh down the ship and keep it steady. Once they arrived in Richmond, they offloaded the stones where then the local cities would use them to make streets.
Each stone is a different shape and size, however the size ranges from 4-7 inches each.
These are sold in lots of 100 at $3.00 each.
