Original Civil War Raised Embossed Horse Bridle Rosette in Brass 2 1/4" GS00814

This brass rosette was adorned on a horse's bridle set noting the importance of it's rider or event. Incredible condition for it's age. Made from brass and heavy duty. The design has a raised center with horse & neck along with recessed round rope twist trim. Reverse side has two metal hooks remaining which were used to attach to the horse's bridle. There are some existing nicks and light scratches along the edges.
