These newel posts are surely one of a kind! From the early 1900's they have been completely restored with professional detailed cleaning, polish & lacquer as well as new wiring and sockets.
Created in the "Monumental" style, the top globes are lighted with a candelabra socket illuminating the soft pastel stained glass globes. The globes are trimmed in brass and are held up by a woman dressed in a long draping gown with multiple colors and hues. The interior center twisted brass pole holds the electrical wires which also matches the 4 spiral spindles.
There are small oak floral rosettes on each side as well as panels of carved wood accents.
Measurements: 75" tall and 11" square.
