Very Rare! Huge Brass Hinges from Library of Congress in D. C. 5" x 7" GS00375
These incredible solid brass hinges were salvaged when refurbishing was being managed within the halls of the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
They are in amazing condition for their age. All of the arrow point finials are intact. All are free from chips, cracks and breaks. There is a patent stamped shown on each hinge with "Pat. Jan 18 1870". Each hinge weighs 2 pounds!
