Vintage 23 Pound Cast Iron Canvasback Sink Box Duck 13" x 7" x 4 1/4" GS00343
This sink box decoy was part of a recently acquired collection which included a number of R. Madison Mitchell decoys and used along the eastern shore of Virginia. We estimate it was made between 1920 & 1935. It is in amazing condition for it's age and use. Solid cast iron with no cracks or breaks. Center bottom seam is shown.
Measurements: 13" Long x 7" Wide x 4 1/4" Tall. Weight before shipping - 23 pounds.
