This French bayonet is designed like a crucifix (cross-shaped) with a spike blade tip. It was made this way for the French infantry for a longer reach in battle.

This model bayonet is the same used by the soldiers that are buried within their trenches covered by war explosions with their bayonets sticking out of the ground. Now a memorial for those who died at this location.

Earlier versions had German silver (nickel alloy) handles; later ones were either brass or iron. This one does have the brass handle and is modified.

Nicknames: Known as "Rosalie," a popular term of endearment, and by the Germans as Zotav 102(F) when repurposed.

There are imprints on the ring "20528" and an "A, B, & S, B" in script.
Measurements: blade - 20 1/2" long. 1/2" socket diameter.

Note: Materials, handling, shipping, insurance and postage included with price.

This is just one example from thousands of unique architectural items we have in our shop!
